Proven resistance

• Tests validated for impacts, shocks and scratches, performed in a real conditions (320kg at 3km/h)
• Several SPM products have been subjected to extremely severe tests and have demonstrated their ability to resist tear-off (CSTB Test n°BP13-6-4042-2)
• Controlled dimensional stability: longitudinal shrinkage of -3.3% (test carried out at 100°c for 1 hour), 4x less than the competition

A high standard of hygiene and decontamination

• Non-porous, impervious and homogeneous material
• Bacteriostatic and anti-mould properties, proven by the Nosoco.tech laboratory
• Suitable for areas with a high risk of infection
• Certified level 4 on the Pasteur nomenclature scale, a foundation of public utility.
• Handrails with bactericidal joints to prevent the transmission of germs in the hands, which is the main cause of nosocomial infections.
• Resistance to cleaning agents, disinfectants and antiseptic products, approved by the Anios laboratory
• Decochoc and Decoclean panels awarded Greenguard Gold labels
• The rounded finish of the Decochoc panel limits the incrustation of germs and is less conducive to soiling.

Fire rating

• The formula for SPM antibacterial PVC includes Bs2d0 fire rating according to EN 13501-1
• Certified to ASTM E84 (USA) and ULC S102.2 (Canada) standards
• SPM is based on the results of tests carried out by independent and approved external laboratories

A range that respects the environment

• SPM PVC products contain no heavy metals such as lead, cadmium,arsenic, tin, etc. and are PBT-free (Persistent Bioaccumulative Toxins) /BPA-free (Bisphenol A)
• SPM has chosen to use calcium-zinc stabilisation, which is non-toxic andposes no environmental threat
• Very low emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds : products classified A+ according to the ISO 16000 standard, with a very low rate compared to the required threshol
• Recommendation of SPM adhesive with no solvents, classified EC1+ without any risk for the users' health and the environment
• SPM products are suitable for use in building projects adopting High Quality Environment (HQE) standards
• European REACH regulation respected : no chemical substance used in the manufacture of SPM products appears in the list established by the regulation

100% recyclable range

SPM has taken the initiative by affirming its environmental approach and its commitment to sustainable development. The materials, PVC and aluminum, are recycled at all stages of the life cycle :

• During manufacturing and cutting, 100% of the offcuts are recycled
• On site, recycling structures exist, containers dedicated to recycling are available
• Materials are 100% recyclable at the end of their life cycle

• The  option of high visual contrast using a well  thought-out rang of colours
• Powerful visual identifiers based on outline shapes and inlays that customize doors and walls and make it easier to recognise places and find one’s way
• Tactile identifiers are available for Escort handrails using their unique design of finishing strip that can be customized on request
• A double bracket for the simple installation of Escort handrails at  two  heights, one standard, the other for children and those using wheelchairs
